If you wish to discuss them please feel free ^^ it you wanna come and burn down my DA page I will find a way to get the world's fastest cheetah for a day just to claw you down. And now, on to the now seemingly regularly scheduled journal post.

Am I getting sucked in to social networking?

Crap...

~ANYHOO!!!!~

Well as many of you may or may not know, I am an anime nerd.

Mind you, not your typical anime nerd. I am not one of the many who watch Cartoon network and claims he watches anime. I watch ANIME. Lots of stuff, so much stuff that I am beginning to think the lines between my own life, the life I live in front of my computer and the various lives I live in my written works some times blur a little.

(800-900 gigs of anime spanned across three harddrives...)

Do I worry? Not in the slightest, I am a nerd... I am supposed to be weird.

But onto the point I am trying to make, I HATE American dubs. 97% of them fail miserably. Lack luster voicing, pale speeches, and all in all horrid voice work.

So naturally as a person who is attempting to become a part of the world that is anime, manga and all things "Japanimationish", I am worried.

I am worried that the work I do will be slaughtered by America. That the voicing will come and ruin me.

I found hope today good sirs!!!

I found it on Youtube, in the middle of a raid in WoW (Agustaro on the Duskwood server =D HRODE HORDE GORDE! Blood Elf Pally 80 member of Leap of Faith, why am I advertising him here????)

It was in a Spanish dubbing of the show. It... it made me so happy!! It was like I became a fan of the original Naruto series all over again!! It was like opening a present on Christmas and it was the 2nd thing you wanted most of all!!!

Ahh! I feel oddly refreshed! So there is hope all in all. I am not hoping much for an American dub, I know its gonna be mostly miss. And if some how I can pass through the barrier and into Japan, I have nothing to worry about. But to know that the worst possible voice quality will come from America? Even better +D

...

Ok, France wasn't so great and Portuguese sounded a little funny but it still was acceptable by my own standards. But... still it was great to hear. I might even download it to re-see the series in Spanish!!!

I think it helps that I speak Dominican Spanish. I understand many more of the dirty jokes purposely laden within the nooks and crannies of the script. Also helps that the Spanish don't really do a lot of censorship. More win for them!

Speaking of censorship why do it? Why leave the Japanese with censored stuff? It is a crime... totally f-ed up!!!

But that is a whole other conversation!

Random final note about me: Currently heiwa chapter 1, the manga itself is currently in the beginning art stage!! YAY! I hope to have a more official update soon but there is still lost more work to do!

*flies off*
